Gonxhe -Mother Teresa Biography

We have long wanted to make a film about Mother Teresa and being from the same country as her (Albania), we felt a strong urge to tell her powerful childhood story and what truly molded her into Sainthood. She’s a symbol of a Living Saint.

Everyone knows about her amazing work in Calcutta, but they hardly know about her upbringing. Maybe because Mother Teresa wanted to be remembered as a follower of Jesus and His servant and nothing else.

However, we felt compelled to make a film about the culture that raised her, the mother that molded her, and the faith that moved her to change the world.

Eagle (shqipe)

The third film by Colored Films tells the story of Helena, a single mother, who leaves a newly post-communist Albania only to become enslaved while entangled in espionage at an Albanian community in America.

The first part of the film was shot on location in Shkoder, Albania. Eagle is now available to watch on Amazon Prime.

In The Woods

Shot in the Angeles National Forest in 10 days with 10 member crew and cast, ‘In The Woods’ won the ‘Silver Ace Awards’ at the LVFF and ‘Best Feature at DWIFF. Greta Zenelaj won ‘Best Actress Award at NYIIFVF. In the woods was also an Official Selection at numerous film festivals such as: “Female Eye Film Festival“, “NYIIFVF“, “LAWomenFest”, “Sonoma International Festival”, and “Detroit Windsor International Film Festival”. In the woods is now available to watch on Amazon Prime.

What do i do now?

The first film production of Colored Films was an official selection and won ‘Best Comedy Feature’ at the ‘NYIIVFV’. The production team was thrilled that their hard work was rewarded.
